The term “Kiosk” sometimes takes on negative connotations but the Cologne shop “Gleis 0”, located at the Ehrenfeld train station, clearly denies this cliché. TWO YEARS AFTER THE COMPLETE RENEWAL OF HER TOBACCO SHOP, WE MET THE OWNER LAETITIA CARON
On a scale of 1 to 10, Mrs. Caron would give 10 to the Tekna Design shopfitting which has allowed her, among other aspects, to increase sales for all the products marketed. An important testimony that certifies that our design not only satisfies aesthetic needs but also profitability.
José Oliva, president of the Federation of Tobacconists of Corsica and owner of “Tabac Oliva”, talks about the practical advantages observed, three years after the new installation created by Tekna Design: 30% increase in turnover and a rate of additional increase from year to year. An interview with general manager Paolo Cappa, who presents the company characteristics and indicates how, through a professional presentation of the products, combined with ideal lighting and correct flows, Tekna Design customers obtain a significant increase in sales from 25 to 30% following the refurbishment of the store.
In these special times of Coronavirus we thought about a solution that might help being more safe in the ambiance of a tobacco shop by a protective barrier. These simple solutions which can be out of plexiglass or even tempered glass - depending on the idea of the project, will be easily applicable and can be prepared as a KIT. We designed two varieties- one solution for fixation on new or existing counters and one hanging solution that can be adjusted on ceilings.
